Our experience in insurance and reinsurance law is as diverse as our clients. For example, this includes experience with disputes related to aviation risks or miscellaneous liability risks, public liability, as well as to insurance against credit default, D&O insurance and all-risk insurance. We also possess unique expertise concerning the liability of insurance brokers, especially pertaining to the provision of advice on the acquisition of suitable insurance cover. In addition, we have experience in managing liability claims against agents.
We represent clients in state court proceedings and arbitration proceedings. In this context, our expertise extends to proceedings in which the ARIAS (UK) Rules apply. Additionally, we conduct (comprehensive) internal audits prior to any legal dispute so as to evaluate its prospects of success. Based upon that assessment, we establish a further strategy (in the enforcement or defence of the claims) in consultation with our clients.
