Dr Henriette Sigmund
Dr Henriette Sigmund advises and represents clients in national and international arbitration proceedings as well as in proceedings before state courts, especially in cases with cross-border implications.
Dr Henriette Sigmund completed her legal training in Heidelberg, Frankfurt and Geneva. During her studies she attained a doctorate in law and economics and comparative law and worked in a law firm in Tel Aviv. Before joining Busse Disputes, Henriette Sigmund worked in a leading German law firm in the field of dispute resolution.
A particular focus of Henriette Sigmund’s practice relates to alternative dispute resolution methods, in particular she is a trained and certified mediator. Furthermore, she has particular expertise in the area of antitrust disputes and is experienced in dealing with matters involving reports by economic experts.
Henriette Sigmund is regional coordinator of the DIS40 in Frankfurt. She speaks German, English and French and has basic knowledge of Italian.
