Manuel Buchmüller advises and represents clients in domestic and cross-border legal proceedings. He is primarily involved in disputes related to (plant) construction and pharmaceuticals, as well as post-M&A matters.

Manuel Buchmüller studied law at the Universities of Freiburg, Budapest (ELTE) and Pisa. He attained a doctoral degree for his work on the interfaces between unfair competition law, consumer behaviour research and neuropsychology. Manuel Buchmüller is bilingual in German and Hungarian and fluent in English and Italian. During his studies, Manuel Buchmüller completed traineeships at a boutique law firm advising on German and Hungarian legal matters and at a leading commercial law firm in Italy.

Manuel Buchmüller’s primary area of practice concerns arbitrations involving complex technical issues. In particular, he has represented international companies from the plant construction and pharmaceuticals sectors. In this respect, he possesses comprehensive expertise with FIDIC contracts. Dr Buchmüller’s practice also focuses on post-M&A disputes and litigious proceedings before state courts.
