Dr. Marianne Weizmann
Dr. Marianne Weizmann, LL.M. (UB), is a specialist lawyer for construction and architectural law. She has more than 15 years of experience representing clients in national and international arbitration proceedings and in proceedings before state courts.
Dr. Marianne Weizmann specializes in proceedings involving highly technical issues, including matters concerning the construction of plants/factories, general construction law, works and services, and architectural law. This also includes significant experience with independent evidence proceedings. She has many years of experience working with experts (especially in multidisciplinary teams) and is familiar with a wide range of contracts in the field of plant/factory construction, such as contracts based on VOB/B or FIDIC model contracts. Dr. Weizmann also spent over four years in the legal department of a real estate firm, advising on projects concerning construction and architectural law issues as well as fundamental questions of contract drafting.
Dr. Weizmann also represents clients in general contract disputes and commercial law disputes. In addition, she assists clients with the preparations for disputes, the settlement of disputes, and the enforcement of arbitral awards.
